One installer per town: why exclusivity is the whole point

We get asked why we turn installers away. The answer is that the moment we rank two solar companies in the same town, we are a directory, and you can already buy directory leads.

What "one per town" means

For each town and each trade, one installer. If you are our solar installer in Reading, we will not build a site for another solar installer in Reading. We might work with an insulation firm there, because a homeowner searching "loft insulation Reading" is not your customer. That is per trade, per town, and it is in writing.

Why it matters to you

Every enquiry from your site goes to you. You are not racing anyone to the phone. You quote against whoever the homeowner found elsewhere, not against four people who paid for the same name.

They searched for an installer and got one. Not a form that triggers five phone calls. That is why our sites convert better than a directory page, and why the enquiries are better tempered when you ring.

What happens when your town is taken

We say so, and we look at the next town along. The checker on our homepage tells you in two seconds. Right now most of the UK is still free, which will not be true this time next year.
